  • Event Management
    • Ensure the successful coordination and execution of six annual NCAA Division I conference championships including WCC Basketball, Cross Country, Golf, Tennis, Rowing, and Baseball Championships
    • Serve as tournament director for all conference championships
    • Plan, forecast, manage, and reconcile championships budgets for all events
    • Conduct championships operations meetings for all events
    • Execute conference policies throughout planning and managing of all events
    • Research and evaluate future tournament proposals and determine if and how they enhance the student-athlete experience, fit within the goals and mission of the conference, and are financially viable options
    • Negotiate and execute facility, hotel, staffing, game operations, travel/transportation, and various other consultant/vendor contracts for each event
    • Secure and execute conference sponsorship agreements to offset operational budget items

    • Serve as primary conference liaison for cross country, golf, tennis, and rowing coaches
    • Ensure the productivity and effectiveness of coaches meetings through education of campus, conference, and NCAA issues and facilitation of open discussion
    • Serve as representative and advocate for coaches groups during Executive Council policy meetings
  • Program Administration
    • Serve as primary conference administrator for awards program, merchandise program, licensing program, athletic trainers advisory group, game managers advisory group, and strength and conditioning best practices group
    • Serve as primary conference liaison for Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Awards Committee, and Championships Committee within WCC governance structure
